Our Story
A business born from community
After David Raffelock was displaced from Brevard, friends in Durham offered him a place to land. What began as temporary became home: the generosity, warmth, and trust of Durham neighbors inspired the company that became Stillpoint Builders LLC.
Stillpoint builds outdoor spaces where families gather, friends connect, and people find a quiet moment of their own. Every project begins by listening, then turning the right plan, materials, and construction details into a space made for real life.
David's standard is simple: if the work is not something he is proud to put his name on, it is not finished. That conviction carries from a quick-start deck or repair to a custom build, fence, or one-of-a-kind carpentry project.
